CUMBIA BASS DANCE PARTY AT LOS ARCOS

Cumbia Bass is the Central Valley’s favorite cumbia dance party — a high-energy fusion of classic 

cumbia and Latin music with modern electronic sounds, presented in a festive dance environment that 

celebrates culture and community. Founded in 2013 by Don Del Toro and Tony Briseno, the project 

was born at Veni Vidi Vici in Fresno, blending traditional and electronic cumbia with the raw aesthetic of 

underground dance shows: booming sound systems, lasers, projected visuals, and packed dance floors. 

From humble beginnings with two DJs and a smoke machine, Cumbia Bass has grown  into a traveling crew 

with performances from Los Angeles to San Francisco and crowds ranging from 100 to 500+. Alongside 

resident members Hector Bueno  (Kalakas) and Nick Santana (Dali Dale), the team throws unforgettable 

events , shares stages with guest artists, and supports the local community by donating their time and services 

to nonprofits, schools, and free cultural events. 

Our mission is simple: to build all-inclusive dance space powered by culture, movement, and the spirit of cumbia.
